Lena Logart
Lena Logart is an Israeli contemporary artist born in Kyiv in 1972. After immigrating to Israel in 1990, she developed a distinctive visual language shaped by cultural memory, migration, and a search for belonging. Working across painting and sculpture, Logart draws inspiration from Cubism, abstraction, and the emotional resonance of color and form.
Presented as part of the collective exhibition JOMO Museum (Joy of Missing Out), her work engages in a subtle dialogue with Édouard Manet, whose compositional freedom, quiet tension, and psychological depth continue to inspire her practice. Through painting, Logart explores the space between memory and reinvention, transforming personal experience into visual narratives. Her works invite viewers into contemplative moments where history, identity, light, and emotional presence converge.
